The New York Working Families Party has officially endorsed Ali Jaffery for Village Justice in Croton-on-Hudson's upcoming election. The endorsement followed a rigorous screening process designed to identify leaders committed to the needs of residents and to transparent, accountable governance.
"The Working Families Party is proud to endorse Ali Jaffery, Len Simon, and Maria Slippen because they are proven champions for our community." — Peter Feigenbaum, Secretary, WFP Westchester-Putnam Chapter
The WFP also expressed gratitude to retiring Village Justice Sam Watkins for his years of service, and voiced confidence in Jaffery's ability to make the court more accessible and responsive to all Croton residents.
Ali Jaffery is a Croton resident and attorney with both civil and criminal law experience. He previously clerked for a judge and currently maintains a local practice. His platform centers on equal language access, evening court hours for working residents, and modernizing court operations.
The endorsement adds to Ali's backing from the Democratic Party of Croton-on-Hudson, making him the candidate of choice for both parties heading into the November election.
